Our vision for Halcyon House wellness center is to create a space that nurtures all aspects of well being. We have several different alternative wellness modalities to support and guide you into a balanced place. All of our practitioners have a unique lens in which they understand the body, and we can work together or independently to an individualized wellness plan for you. As a worker-owned cooperative we are who we employ and our wellness center will always be evolving.

Our Physical Therapy is focused on a holistic approach to wellness and involves neuro-somatic re-education, and targeted gentle movement to help bring your whole body and mind into a more balanced state. Sessions may include craniosacral therapy, somatic yoga therapy, targeted exercises, and other Physical Therapy techniques to help you achieve your desired outcome.

Yoga therapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes the principles and practices of yoga to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being. It involves the application of yoga techniques such as posture (asana), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and relaxation to address specific health concerns. It can also include Ayurveda, a sister science to yoga. Yoga therapy certification involves 1,000 hours of training.
